Code to import XTP files/palettes

Does anyone know if it is possible to import XTP files to create new palettes with some code?  I have a large number to import, and doing   it graphically with a the mouse and cursor is very cumbersome and slow particularly choosing a file in a convoluted directory path.

Thanks for any help - George

If you have the original palette definitions, you could locate them in a common network location.  Should be faster than importing everything (and then doing it again when something changes).

Thanks for the reply, but maybe we have misunderstood each other.  I have 50+ tabs on a local hard drive which I have exported to .xtp files - currently on the local hard drive.  I want to move them to the server. This seems to mean to me that I will have to copy the files+folders to the server and them import one at a time to create a new palette structure as the data for the palettes seems to be stored in the registry.   My query was wondering if the importing ot eh xtp files could be automated as it currently takes a lot of mouse clicks to do each one.

Try copying the tool palette contents (check the Tool Palette search path) to the network without any exporting.  Then point the Tool Palette search path to the network equivalent location.  You might have to do a little diddling with tool palette groups afterwards.  But otherwise, no export/import is required for this.
