Change what a double click does, with Paper Space

There is a customization that I have wanted to try for a long time.  Change what color the cursor is when you are in paper space and then a different color when you enter a viewport (modelspace).  This would give a very clear visual prompt to which space you are in.

I know how to archive this by redefining the .ps, ms, pspace, mspace, and any other variation. Simply change the variable that controls the cursor color then continue with mspace/pspace. Simple

The difficulty I am having is redefining what happens when you double click. Double click in a viewport and you are in model space. Double click outside the viewport and you are in paper space.

I am looking for where this action is defined. I assumed that it would be in the CUI where the other definitions for double click are but I have yet to find it.

if you know where the definition is located or if a bit of code is required to do this please let me know.

Thank you

Hello and Welcome!

I just made a quick search and found THIS routine written by Bill Zondlo, THIS thread. Quick test -- looks good so far, it works!

Thank you for looking. I figured somebody somewhere must have had this idea before.

Glad it was only 5 years ago.
