Break Polylines at Intersection of X-line

Hi,

I have many open/closed polylines and X-line (construction lines) crossing those polylines at some spacing in my drawing. i need to break at the intersection points of X-line and polyline and make the polylines into two entities. I can use break command and split those into two but there are many places i have to do like this so if i get a lisp it could be easier for me to make it. Could someone help me to get a way for this?

Thanks in advance

Find CAB's BreakObjects22 routine, eg. HERE and use for example c:BreakWith function.

Although the routine does not allow to select XLINEs, I think the algorithm is good enough to allow XLINE as well. Just  add "XLINE" to the selection filter for entities ToBreakWith. Then it works.

(setq ss2 (ssget '((0 . "LINE,ARC,SPLINE,LWPOLYLINE,POLYLINE,CIRCLE,ELLIPSE,XLINE"))))

Edit: @ronjonp beat me. It's the same routine we both referring to. Still, that adjustment needs to be done to make it work.

Hi BeeKeeCZ

Thanks for your reply !
I have seen the thread which you have shown me. It has variety of options to choose in Break command. It works fine.
It breaks exactly at the intersection of polylines and crossing lines with no gap which is what i want. I have some closed polylines also in my drawing is it possible to divide those into two closed polylines. See attached image.
