Automatically put the (viewport)scale in the titleblock (AutoCAD 2020)

Hi,

I have a template which contains a (manual) annotation for the scale (example: 1 : 2).

But with this manual annotation, one needs to retrieve the viewportscale and type it into the annotation.

Is it possible (just as it is in Inventor) to "read" the scale that is used and fill in automatically into the titleblock?

I looked for a 'Field' to use, but nothing there, so maybe there's another trick?

Thx in advance.

@Geveke ,

Try the "Standard scale" option in your field, rather than the "Custom scale".

Which is your desired end state?

Best,

@CodeDing

We have a template which consist of a modelspace in which we draw our stuff scale 1:1, and 3 paperspace sheets (sheetsize A0, A1 and A3), on which we display the modelspace stuff in a scale that can variate; for example 1:10,  1:100, 1:250, etc.

What i want to achieve is that the scale we use in paperspace to display our modelspace correctly, is displayed automatically in the titleblock on the paperspace sheet.

With your suggestion i see a scale 'CUSTOM', not something like scale 1:10, so i think your option is not the right one, but maybe i am missing something.
