Would it be possible to add a data field to an attribute automatically and auto map it to a object label that is in the drawing? The object label is a free standing label created using the database connection manager. If my block is named "title" with attribute "desc", I'd like to add a field, ctrl f in the attribute. The field category will be objects, and field name will be oject, and the object type will be selected using a selection criteria where the label matches "desc". The property for the label to be used is "contents".
I realize this is a complex task, but thanks for anyone willing to help me on it. This can be performed on any dwg block and I can modify it to suit my needs.
