assignment of object scale to annotative blocks in tool palettes

Namaste.

We have added annotative blocks into the tool palette and we use these blocks whenever necessary in various viewports. If we move one of such blocks from one viewport to another (across viewports with different annotative scales), the relevant/ respective object scale needs to be assigned.  But we have noticed if an annotative block is in the model-space has a set of preassigned object scale/s, moving such a block across viewports with different annotative scales has no issue as the block automatically assumes the annotative scale of the viewport. Now the question: is there way to keep the blocks in the tool palette/s with preassigned object scale/s? Or if a block is inserted by dragging from the tool palette, can the block assume a set of preassigned object scales during insertion? Also, note that we set ANNOAUTOSCALE value at 4, always.

If this question can be expanded to include annotative hatches stored in tool palette/s, will also help us.

something you can try is ti use a macro  with CHSPACE to bump the block into model space and then use it again to bump it back into your viewport. Not sure if you will get the desired effect but it might be worth checking out.

Hi @Anonymous,

I have seen this question before and I am sorry to say that I am not aware of a way to  assign scales to the annotative block in the palettes.  You might be able to do this with some coding however. If you woulds like me to move this thread to the customization forum please let me know.
