Add ribbon panel from one cuix to other cuix

Is there any way to add a ribbon panel in one cuix to a tab in another cuix and have that tab as part of a Workspace? Specifically, I have a customized Home tab in my own cuix, which I am trying to add the ModelDoc's View panel to it.

I have to say AutoCAD (and perhaps other Autodesk products) may have the most cumbersome/convoluted way of customizing UI I have ever seen, never mind trying to export/save the customization.

I don't think that is possible (don't shoot me if i'm wrong). You can however copy the full home tab to your own CUI, make your modifications there and make set that as your default home tab hiding the official one. I don't have experience on Workspace depending CUI so can't help you on that part. 

For saving the CUI right click the CUI in your CUI menu and click save-as. Not that convoluted.
