In some cases offset envelopes do not go out well. Although exploding VehicleTrackingPath and manually offsetting envelope works fine.
Notice aircraft (Boeing 747-8) chasis envelope offset.

I have not seen this issue recently and thought it was fixed, could you post a drawing on here and Ill rase a defect.
