How to Add to "Misc" Heading in the Properties tab?

Hello...

Is there a way to add fields to the property dialogue box? I would like to add a secondary converted set of units from feet(our current working units) to meters into the properties window, but cannot find how to add to the list under "misc" heading in the properties window.

I am working with VBA and am new to this, so all help is appreciated.

thank you...

Guido

Adding extra info to the normal parts of the properties palette may not be possible, but you can add custom sections for objects.

Thank you for the link to this blog. I found that article very insightful, sadly... this does not resolve my issues... part of my issue is that I need the data table available to autodesk to label and the other issue is that I need this to work prior to 2009, so i need some OPM help as well..

So... after a lot more research and conversations with tech support here is what I have learned.

What I need is to create an Object Enabler... but I can't seem to find documentation on how to do this? So if you have any idea how one does it I would much appreciate it.

Thanks in advance for any help...

You can do this with AutoCad Map if both parties have Map with Object Data
