Slowed scripting after 2022 upgrade

Hi all!

First time posting! I hope this isn't a duplicate.

We have an excel configurator which generates data and produces an automated drawing with AutoCAD. Currently the department is using 2018 but I was asked to upgrade to 2022. On 2018 the script takes as little as 1:30 minutes, consistently. After the upgrade, the same configuration can take anywhere between 6 minutes and 18 minutes.

The environment is exactly the same, the only difference is the reference in Excel from Type Library 22 to Type Library 24.

Has anyone experienced this?

Thank you in advance!

I know! I'm so disappointed too! I did my best to bring it down to 1:30 minutes haha

The old library is only compatible with the old version of AutoCAD. If I try pushing the script to 2022, it fails. I have to reference the type library 24 for the script to run on CAD2022.
