Openning a . pdf document

Hi,
Can any one explain me hoe to open a pdf document by just click of a commnd button.

Igot a pdf document name "C:w.pdf" i want to open by the click a commnd button, i have Adobe Reader 6 installed in system.
Plese help.

Hi Benny!

Use the SHELL command of autocad (defined in acad.pgp)
Test it in commandline first:


sh c:\myFolder\myDocument.pdf


That's all - You can use SENDCOMMAND for the line above

Hi Benny!

You can also use the SHELL Command of VB

private sub commandbutton .......
shell "C:\programs\adobe\........\acrord32.exe c:\myFile.pdf" '
..... use the folders where you have Acrobat Reader installed
end sub

I have tested this on my system - it is rumming!
