Laurie thank you for all of your help. You are the bomb. But there must be something wrong with my help files. Are you talking about the help files included in the AUTOCAD VBA. Because mine do not have any help on AutoCad programming? In AutoCad I am going to the MACRO MENU then VISUAL BASIC EDITOR then HELP. They just show basic visual basic syntax with no AutoCad VBA examples at all. Please tell me where to look and if I can find them I think there will be alot of useful information there. Thank you again.

Hi,

When I access Help, I type an AutoCAD specific keyword, select it and press
F1

Type InsertBlock, then select it and press F1

Check the AutoCAD developer help file, should be located with the rest of the AutoCAD help files.
