I have a block that was created for 96 scale DWG's. My menu button looks like this.
^C^C-LAYER;S;W;;-INSERT;H:/CAD/BLK/B041W;\(IF (< 48(GETVAR"DIMSCALE")) 1.0 0.75);;\

When using 96 or 48 scale dwg's it works great, but here lately we have been recieveing dwg's that are 1/16" scale we have to scale the blocks up twice well you know some people it is to hard to remember to do it so when we go to plot out the dwg's have of them are right the other looks like CRAP. How would everyone else do it???

I would create the block at 1:1 then scale it up to the dimscale opon insertion. Then it doesn't matter what scale anyone uses... Of coarse someone will always not be using the correct dimscale! -- KenWood wrote: > I have a block that was created for 96 scale DWG's. Draw everything full scale > scale in the layout. Dimscaling went out with the '80s! -- ___________________________ Mike Tuersley CADalyst's AutoCAD Clinic Rand IMAGINiT Technologies
