Issue with copying a part

Hello the issue I am running into is when I copy a part with iLogic it always keeps one copy ahead of the previous copy. So when I go to change a piece of the name for the next part it uses the last copy file path. 

Example:

if the name was 201A and I change it to 201B. Instead of saving the file path of ...Documents\201B.ipt it saves it as ...Documents\201A.ipt

I have only coded in iLogic so far and haven't implemented any VB code so if you can could you explain how it would be implemented with iLogic code.
