Grid Does Not Appear

I can not get the grid to show up in my model space.  I have tried checking the 'Grid on' option in settings as well as changing the X and Y properties, but have had no success.

The grid will only show up in the area defined by LIMITS. Perhaps you are zoomed outside of that area?

Also, make sure that the colors for your grid lines are not similar to the background.

The problem seemed to resolve itself overnight, I can now see the grid. Thank you
