Is there any way to insert a drawing as a block and have it's embedded
macros inserted with it ?

You may embed macros within a drawing. When that drawing is inserted as a
block the macros will be there as well.

vba macros can be embedded into drawings so that they are part of the
drawing and not linked to a dvb file.

Hmmm, I must be doing something wrong then. In AutoCAD 2004 I embed my
macro, save the drawing, insert it into another drawing as a block and the
macro is not there.

Whatever you are doing wrong I am doing wrong as well...
Embedded are not inserted on my Acad 2004.

Since you can only have one embedded macro in a drawing I don't see how they
could be automatically inserted.
