Coplanar is determined by the normal vector as well as the endpoints. So,
if the lines have different normal vectors, then they will be considered to
be non-coplanar even if they appear to be on the same plane.

What did I do to cause lines to be non-coplanar?
In 20+ years of AutoCAD I have not had an occasion to change
the Z coordinate of an entity.
Now all of a sudden I have lines I can't fillet.
