AutoCad 2000 solid models

I'm having trouble getting two solid models to subtract. the return key is hit for the modify command, the screen blinks, and the command line is back with NO modifications to anything??? the solids intersect without doubt! both solids: plot on the screen, will render; and will return "mass properities"....................

any ideas on what's wrong or things to check for?? any and all help greatly appreciated by both the operator and the machine who is feeling VERY threatened recently!

What do you mean with autocad 2000?
1) First, save the file as new version.
2) Check if solids are not far way from origin. If so, move then close to 0,0 and try again.
3) I make many subtractions and I have no problem if solids are close to origin.

Leonardo.

Leonardo-

AutoCad 2000 is the version of software I'm using.

both objects that are giving me problems are "revolutions" about an axis that goes through the origin.

the enclosed image shows the suspects. the larger of the two objects is on the order of 13" diameter and a thickness of 2.50"

thanks for your help!!

Don´t waste your time using programing with Acad 2000. There are many bugs and unsupported objects.

Upgrade is the cheapest way...
