Vault Interface Needs Revamp

The current interface must date all the way back from the 90s. Hasn't anyone complained about it?

- The Navigation tree: What's up with the 5 pixel wide (+) and (-)? This is old stuff and way to long and cumbersome to navigate.

- No ribbons? Only drop-down menus and tool bars? Is this 2003?

- File references windows : Again with the (+) and (-)? Extremely frustrating to navigate.

- Preview Windows: Takes forever to load and often doesn't load anything. The windows placement is horrible. It should appear on the side or something and at least not waste an entire part of the screen with the white background.

- File navigation and actions: What's with the right-click thing. It should have readily available buttons that appear next to the selected item. The selected item line should expand to show the buttons and a preview.

Does anyone agree with me?

The ADMS cold use some work too.  Even more than the client side.

I think the preview window should be larger than a thumbnail. The right clicking to open a file in a change order is ridiculous.

Hi see that the status was changed to Accepted January 2018, here it is October 2019. Almost 2 years later and now change. What does change to Accepted mean exactly.?

I been a huge supporter of Autodesk products for 30 years, defending they against Bentley supporters for years,but every year it is harder and harder to be so supportive. The lack of respect for your customers, the very people that buy and use your software. Need to start listening and complete those items when indicated that you will. 2+ years is not acceptable.

Finally another remark about this heavy tool. Do we still need this heavy tool or is it possible to extend the capacity of the web interface to do what the heavy software is doing (eG: make the links avaialable for web interface...)? I see many advantages, anyone who wants an access need to request just an access to the software itself (means account) and go the the webpage in which he will be able to select the server/database. That's it.... If we wants to revoke an access, we can request for that and also that's it...
From now each user need to install the software, get the configuration (because stored locally) and then connect to the server... So finally the person can lose a day to get everything...

Note: I don't what are the extact capacity of the web interface...

Vault user interface has not changed in the last 10 years. 

The request is to update the UI to a more modern look\ 4 k support

The first page in Vault should be a dashboard and not what's new.
