About 25% of the time, I will check a dwg into the vault and then imediatly relalize that I still have something that I need to do to the dwg. It would be really nice to be able to undo a checkin (like you can undo a checkout) to make those changes.
Thanks for the suggestion, I am interested to know though, is this an issue with extra version creation? What are your concerns with simply creating a new version?
Thank you for your interest. There isn't a huge problem with version creation for us although we would like to keep versions down to a minimum. For my company, our ideal goal is to have one, maybe two Vault versions per a drawing revision.
