Permanently disable visualization dwf when checking in using Task Scheduler

Hello all,

When I check in multiple Inventor files using Autodesk Task Scheduler, the "create visualization attachment" is checked by default and dwf's are automatically created in Vault, see attached.

Autodesk already confirmed that there is no way to permanently disable it. I don't need a mass create dwfs process so I need the default to be off.

In Vault I already turned off creation of dwf files (Tools / Settings / Vis Attachments / Define - not enable.)

Search in Forum for more details and I will post this on Inventor Idea site as I'm not sure what division can fix it.

Until this issue is fixed, we need to manually delete all Vault dwf's created by task scheduler.

Thank you for your help and vote.

i am actually running into the opposite issue with task scheduler. I have everything checked to make a .dwf file, however when checking in mass drawings using task scheduler, the .dwf files doesn't actually get created.

When checking drawings in, manually, through inventor, i have no issues with the .dwf creation.

Hi Daniel

yes, thank you. I understand your problem was with disabling the .dwf creation.

However, i am wanting the .dwf creation. I have everything enabled in Vault's settings. When i manually check in a drawings through Inventor, the .dwf creation is perfect. However, when i check in mass drawings in task scheduler, even though the .dwf creation is enabled, it doesn't actually create the .dwf files.

Check Vault user permission, eventually a different computer and same vault user... or log in with a different account on the computer that performs the operation.
