It would be very helpful to have a setting in Autodesk Vault that allows the "Update Part Number" checkbox to be disabled by default when renaming files. In many workflows—especially when working with Inventor files—users do not always want the part number to be automatically updated when the file name changes. This feature would help prevent unintended changes and save time.
