Why can iLogic not access Vault properly? Absolutely crazy.
Most important missing feature is the ability 'get' files, it breaks so many ilogic workflows by not being able to bring files down to a users machine. Also, auto-check-in would be good.
I agree it would be nice to have this implemented as default functionality, but it is possible to use the Vault API within iLogic. You add the Vault DLL's as references in an iLogic rule. You can then use the Vault connection created by the Vault Add-In within Inventor so you do not duplicate connections.
I wish this was better documented but you can piece it together with existing iLogic functionality.
