Online/Forge Viewer to Have Same Functionality as Autodesk Design Review

Autodesk Design Review is, by far, the best tool for our production floor to use to view and query a model for information when building equipment. The online viewer is in the same arena, but only barely. 

Just to list off a few things that ADR does markedly better than the online viewer:

1. Model browser indents and is more intuitive
2. the "search/find" function works well and does not reset after every search
3. The ability to pin the model browser, object properties, etc.
4. The measure tool actually works for plane-to-plane and other relevant measurements

Overall, ADR is far superior for what we need and the feedback from all involved is that we need to stay with ADR. From my understanding, the online forge viewer is the direction everything is going, so I'd like to make sure it has the functionality we need. Otherwise, we'll have to look to different softwares to view the Autodesk files.

I know that this post is already archived and it was passed to the proper team, but I just want to present struggle in our company, since ADR (Autodesk Design Review) is Legacy and Thin Client Viewer does not have all the functions which ADR had. Our personnel on the assembly floor (and other departments) are not satisfied with the Viewer and has a lot of negative feedback. ADR is crashing sometimes on specific files, but we cannot move to Viewer, since it is lacking basic functionalities (move components, proper / easier section view, easier measurement, better view of the browser, ...) and it harder to use than ADR. So basically our company is on a hold-back to ADR, until Viewer will be at least similar good enough to use. We hope that you (as Autodesk) can push this forward quite fast, it will make everyones life easier.
