On old drawing version, show which model version was used

Hello.

It would be great to have an information on old drawing version, that shows which model version was used.

Currently there is no such information in Vault, except downloading everything and obtain this data via some custom logic (code).

For example, we have 8 model version and 3 drawing versions. On drawing version 3, we know that model version 8 was used, since it is the most recent one. We would like to see which model version was used on drawing version 2.

Best regards,

Rene Repina

Hi @ReneRepina

You might check if doing Get on historic drawing version, expanding that dialog, clicking to Include Children and enabling Version column, does what you need.

Example:

Version 6 (latest) of my test drawing uses version 4 (latest) of model.

Version 3 of my test drawing uses version 1 of the model.

Hello Arkadiusz!

Thank you very much for the example. This is indeed the solution! We also covered this with Venkatesh, so basically solution exists. It is a little bit hidden though.

Best regards,
