Lifecycle state transition email notification Enhancements

1. We need to have options to choose users from the group instead sending the mail to the entire group.

2. In Email template, it would be great to include Folder properties, to perform State transition notifications on Folder level, when user need to control the lifecycle on folders. For reference on output file, check the image, only subject line created, and it is incomplete with state properties too.

Enhancement #1 gets my solid vote. I could use this as we speak.

Add to that, a "time out" feature, so one could specify that if Joe Checker doesn't perform the required tasks in a specific time frame, notification then goes to the next in line checker to take over the tasks so everything stays on schedule. Maybe even add an automated reminder of the still pending task.

As it is now, notifications are going out to the entire group and basically filling up user emails with most likely, worthless information if they are not working on that project. This will no doubt lead to users starting to ignore these notifications and defeating the entire purpose.

I may be wrong, but this seems like a pretty obvious omission.

I haven’t used 2025 yet (just about to upgrade) but I know what you mention in your first point is exactly what we need.

There is a pool of checkers and approvers, for each project the person checking/approving documents may change. If we send an email to all people will just start to ignore them as they don’t mean anything to them. Or people will think others are going to check them, and no one ends up checking it 🤣🤣
