If you use Instance properties - for example TAG's on (always the same model) valves - , they don't flow through to items created from them. That would be better addressed in future releases.
We second Johan's request. It seems like an oversight that BOM Instance properties created in Inventor are ignored when Assigning Items and creation of BOM. Properties needs naturally to be mapped etc. but still they are just ignored.
We as many other companies has a variety of needs to be apple to apply different instance specific properties to identical inserted components
