As security is becoming more and more of an issue with all hacker attacks and companies are very concerned about their IP it would be good to have the possiblity to have the files encrypted in the filestore. It is not easy to find a file in the filestore structure but all the files are stored as is and can be opened in their host application. There are a few PDM systems on the market that has this ability.
Also if this could extend to the client side to have the workspace encrypted and hidden for the user would be even more nice.
