DWF to follow parent State during transition; same as pdf

In the transition rule from WIP to Review, we have Vault set to update the dwf and pdf. We also have the files set to follow the parent. During the transition, the pdf updates and changes to the same state as the parent, but the dwf does not; the dwf should follow the rule. It does not make sense to me to leave the dwf's in WIP. Thanks for posting the idea. However, we strongly recommend against setting a lifecycle state or definition on the hidden DWFs. This will cause other workflows to stop working.

Any chance you could provide an example of a workflow this would break?

Update view is a workflow that would break. Users can select to update a view locally, and the DWF file would be locked, and the command would fail. 

We purposely do not sync the visualization file's lifecycle to the CAD model because it is a hidden file and should not be locked down.
