Display state as icon

Displaying a State as an icon gives a fast first view on a large amount of documents and/or items. Please build in next 2018 update

As an addition when you create your own States in a self desigend LifeCycle you should be able to assign your own Icons to a state.

In Vault could be usefull to have Icons to switch to a specific states. Status change is a frequently use funtions. For those ones there should be separated icons, not submenus.

We would like to have the ability to add colours to the rows in the detail view.

This would give us a better overview, e.g. all files created by a certain user get the same colour or all files which we need to work on get another colour.

The colour should be controlled by an additional property for the rows.

It also would be great if we could use the colours for filtering.

Thanks for posting the idea, what is going to determine a file that a particular user will work on?

We use this feature already in our self developed drawing adminstration software for 2D AutoCAD files.

It is very useful to get a quick overview in the project.

For example every user gets a certain colour so it is to see who is working on which files.

Or we use differnt colours for the different states of our defined lifecycle.

With 2023 Release now you have the ability to define your own colors for Lifecycle States. Does that help for this idea?
