Data Standard Create iProperties

It appears that Data Standard is incapable of creating custom iProperties if they do not exist.  This creates a headache and lots of work adding the custom iProperties to templates, files, content center libraries, design accelerator templates, Tube & Pipe, Cable harness.  iLogic and other API's offer ability to create them.  Being able to create them from powershell would avoid all of this other work.  Recently found out that Cable & Harness segments have no template to set the iProperties in so there is no way to add them besides manually adding them else data standard will fail.

Thank you for posting the idea. However, this is not the purpose of Data Standard to add new iProperties to files.

The Properties must exist in Vault as a UDP or already exist in the model.

The issue is that we cannot add the properties to to model template for segments in Cable and Harness.  So now data standard will not function as the properties are not in the file.  Only way to add them is thru customization we develop in an addin or a rule or something.  Or Cable and Harness is just not fully supported by Data Standard and not usable if you need custom properties.  There is a hole in the process that is has no standard way to be handled.
