When copying designs with frame generator assemblies you have only two options either update the part number with the new file name or not to in that case the part number will be blank. In either case the original part number containing the stock number and length will get wiped which is how frame generator works on the parts list which renders them then usless when making changes on the new designs. I propose the option to leave the part number alone but I guess these options will have to be next to every part unless theres way to just set this just for frames.
