As a Vault user, I need an identifier about referenced Fusion 360 datasets in Inventor assemblies

Problem statement

Inventor & Fusion 360 getting closer to each other and data exchange is increasing. We see more customers using Fusion 360 models in Inventor by the Reference Model option on the Inventor Import dialog.

The Inventor model browser shows the referenced Fusion model, but you don't have an indication in Vault that a reference between Inventor and Fusion exist.

Solution proposal

Could you add an icon or a Vault property can be used as identifier for referenced Fusion models, please?

Currently, users are missing the ability to see in the Vault Client/Vault Thin Client whether the model has been loaded into Fusion. Additionally, users are missing the ability to initiate the Fusion link from within the Vault Client, just as it works from within the application itself.

1. Select a property to visualize that the primary file is linked to a Fusion model.

2. Display as an icon in the Vault Client and Thin Client.

3. As with attachments or references, it would be very helpful for users if the Fusion link were also displayed, allowing them to access the same functions on the RMT as within the application.
