Add "GROUP BY BOX" to Preview Pane

When I'm enacting lifecycle management on a drawing (i.e. change from WIP to CHECK etc) and I select the drawing I can see the tree in the USES tab of the Preview Pane. I want to be able to use the GROUP BY BOX. This is helpful so I can select files by STATE or CATGEGORY and enact a lifecycle state change en masse.

Currently I can shift select the files and choose "change state" but if the files are not ALL of the same lifecycle I can't apply a new state with a single pull down. I instead have to select every file individually and apply the new state one-by-one. This is very time consuming for a drawing that is of a top level assembly with hundreds of files in it.

I think I should clarify.

I know that I can slect all the sub files and try to enact a lifcycle state change by grabbing the pull down and choosing the appropriate lifecycle. The root issue is if the files selected are not all in the same lifecycle state at that moment, (i.e. some are incheck, some are released, some are under review) AND I try to move the state by lifycyle one of two problems can coccur. 1) If I have permission to transition lifecycle state for the all the current states can can unintentionally move a file from Released to In-Check be cause it is part of my selection group from the USES tab view (i.e. I shift selecte an entire range of files). 2) If I don't have permissions to transition even just on of the states (i.e. I am not allowed to transition from under review to In check) then I can't move ANY of the files' lifecycle state to in-check because I don't have transition permission for a single file in the selection group.

So, if I can show my users to group by state and then only select In-Work (or whatever) when they want to transition lifecycles that is more comprehensible than trying to pick through the hang ups I explain above.

I hope this helps to clarify. I realize what I state here may seem a bit "out there" but I assure you it has a real impact on my company. I have 65+ users trying to transtion states a'' with varying levels of Vault comprehension. When they hit a snag like I describe here they through their hands up in frustration. Unfortunately this happens on a daily basis for us.
