Add AVFS to Multi-Site instructions in Vault Release notes.

Add AVFS to Multi-Site instructions in Vault Release notes.

Since AVFS is an important part of Multi-Site replication, please correct the Server Installation instructions in Release Notes documents to indicate when to install the AVFS version of the download (after ADMS).  Please revise this note when there is or isn't an AVFS update to accurately reflect the instructions to the specific update.

Current installation instructions don't even mention AVFS:

MULTI SITE (File Replication)

Update Installation – applied to every Autodesk Data Management Server (ADMS).

  1. Reset the web service by typing 'IISRESET' at a server command prompt.
  2. Run 'Autodesk_Vault_2018.3.4_Update_(Server).exe' on an ADMS server to install the update.
  3. Repeat the preceding steps for every ADMS server.
  4. Open one ADMS Console and migrate all unmigrated databases and libraries before proceeding.
NOTE: It may be necessary to detach an un-migrated database if the update addresses a migration problem.

Database Update – applied ONCE from ONE Autodesk Data Management Server (ADMS).

WARNING: DO NOT PROCEED until the update has been successfully applied on ALL ADMS servers.

It appears the Multi-Site Replication instructions have been updated, which is an improvement from before. However, since the ADMS update is an important prerequisite, these instructions can still be confusing. For IT and Vault administrators that are new to replication will look for what best describes their configuration. Thus, making these independent of each other is helpful. I think it should read more like this:

MULTI SITE (File Replication only)
ADMS:
Update Installation - applied to every connected Autodesk Vault Server (ADMS)
1. Reset the web service on the Autodesk Data Management Server (ADMS) by typing 'IISRESET' at a command prompt.
2. Run 'Autodesk_Vault_2018.3.6_Update_(Server).exe' on the server to install the update.
3. Open the ADMS Console and migrate all un-migrated databases and libraries before proceeding.
o NOTE: It may be necessary to detach an un-migrated database if the update addresses a migration problem.
4. Close the ADMS Console application.

Database Update - applied ONCE from ONE Autodesk Vault Server (ADMS) on the Publisher workgroup ONLY.

5. Open a command prompt and navigate to the installed location of Connectivity.ADMSConsole.exe.
6. Run ADMS b2bmigrate operation in command line mode:
o Example: Connectivity.ADMSConsole.Exe -Ob2bmigrate -VUadministrator -VPadmin_password -DBUsql_user -DBPsql_password
o NOTE: Replace 'admin_password' with the appropriate administrator password for the -VP switch.
o The last two command line parameters are required only if the 'sa' password is not the default password.
7. A 'migration successful' dialog will display when the b2bmigrate operation has completed.
8. If necessary, open ADMS Console and attach any previously detached databases.
AVFS:
Update Installation - applied to every Autodesk File Server (AVFS).

9. Reset the web service by typing 'IISRESET' at a server command prompt.
10. Run 'Autodesk_Vault_2018.3.6_Update_(File_Server).exe' on an AVFS site to install the update.
11. Repeat the preceding steps for every AVFS site.

CONNECTED WORKGROUP (File + SQL Replication)
ADMS (File + SQL Replication):
Update Installation - applied to every Autodesk Vault Server (ADMS) in all workgroups.
1. Reset the web service by typing 'IISRESET' at a server command prompt.
2. Run 'Autodesk_Vault_2018.3.6_Update_(Server).exe' on an ADMS site to install the update.
3. Repeat the preceding steps for every ADMS site in all workgroups.
4. Open one ADMS Console on the Publisher workgroup and migrate all databases and libraries before proceeding.
o NOTE: It may be necessary to detach an un-migrated database if the update addresses a migration problem.
5. Close the ADMS Console application.
Database Update - applied ONCE from ONE Autodesk Vault Server (ADMS) on the Publisher workgroup ONLY.
WARNING: DO NOT PROCEED until the update has been successfully applied on ALL ADMS sites in all workgroups.
6. Ensure that all workgroups are online and accessible before proceeding. Do not proceed until the Replication Status | Merge Information dialog shows "Waiting 60 second(s) before polling for further changes." for each replicated vault and library.
7. Open a command prompt and navigate to the installed location of Connectivity.ADMSConsole.exe.
9. A 'migration successful' dialogue will display when the b2bmigrate operation has completed.
o NOTE: A successful migration may take some time as the database updates must be consumed by the subscriber workgroups.
10. If necessary, open ADMS Console and attach any previously detached databases.

AVFS :
Update Installation - If file-only replication is used in addition to any connected workgroups, update all Autodesk Vault File Server (AVFS):

11. Reset the web service by typing 'IISRESET' at a server command prompt.

12. Run 'Autodesk_Vault_2018.3.6_Update_(File_Server).exe' on an AVFS site to install the update.

13. Repeat the preceding steps for every AVFS site.

Since most installations are single site, another way to do it would be to divide the main sections into:
Single Site (ADMS, SQL + Filestore)
Update ADMS
Update Database

Replicated Workgroups and Sites:
All Connected Workgroups (ADMS, SQL+Filestore)
Update AMDS - applied to every Autodesk Vault Server (ADMS), beginning with the publisher (Is it required to do install on publisher first?).
1. Reset the web service by typing 'IISRESET' at a server command prompt.
2. Run 'Autodesk_Vault_2018.3.6_Update_(Server).exe' on an ADMS site to install the update.
3. Open one ADMS Console on the Publisher workgroup and migrate all databases and libraries before proceeding.
4. NOTE: It may be necessary to detach an un-migrated database if the update addresses a migration problem.
5. Close the ADMS Console application.
WARNING: DO NOT PROCEED until the update has been successfully applied on ALL ADMS sites in all workgroups.
Publisher (ADMS, SQL + Filestore)
Database Update - applied ONCE from ONE Autodesk Vault Server (ADMS) on the Publisher workgroup ONLY.
8. Run ADMS b2bmigrate operation in command line mode:

* Example: Connectivity.ADMSConsole.Exe -Ob2bmigrate -VUadministrator -VPadmin_password -DBUsql_user -DBPsql_password
* NOTE: Replace 'admin_password' with the appropriate administrator password for the -VP switch.
* The last two command line parameters are required only if the 'sa' password is not the default password.
9. A 'migration successful' dialogue will display when the b2bmigrate operation has completed.
10. NOTE: A successful migration may take some time as the database updates must be consumed by the subscriber workgroups.
11. If necessary, open ADMS Console and attach any previously detached databases.

All Sites (AVFS, Filestore)
Update AVFS - If file-only replication is used in addition to any connected workgroups, update all Autodesk Vault File Server (AVFS):

11. Reset the web service by typing 'IISRESET' at a server command prompt.

12. Run 'Autodesk_Vault_2018.3.6_Update_(File_Server).exe' on an AVFS site to install the update.

13. Repeat the preceding steps for every AVFS site.
