Currently there is no functionality present I can find to automatically attach a PDF file at Item Master record correction. This is time consuming to add each PDF file manually. This should automatically add PDF files when an Item is created if it has the same file name/part number.
We 100% support this request. Having to manually add the associated PDF to Item is extra work and open to error. We release the PDF as part of the drawing release process, its important to have it attached to the item as the Items are our mechanism for exporting data to downsteam processes such as procurement and production. I'm sure most companies would work like this.
