why does the Properties in an item not always ? I have a problem in vault anyone know if it is a user error or an program error ? I think it the error might be in 1/1000 files. to fix it I need to check out and make a change to the file and chech and update item or simple delete the item and create it again

Is it possible to get your mapping for that property? I tried the workflow in 2020.2.1 with the attached mapping and it updated the property as expected.

You have the proper mapping so it should be working. Since you mentioned that it is having the issue not often or on a select set of files, is it possible for you to open a support case and add one of those files to the case? This way we can work with you to resolve the issue. This could be something either in the file or within the database that is causing the problem and troubleshooting via the newsgroup is not ideal.
