Vault log in button stuck in corner

Hey all,

Anyone know how to get my log in icon in the vault program to leave the right corner of my screen? I noticed about a week ago that it somehow stuck itself to the right side of my screen and no matter how I move my vault screen, the login button stays attached to the right side of my screen. This is making it difficult to exit out of the vault with my screen maximized, as the button covers my minimize, exit, and restore buttons.

I checked with a coworker, and their log in is in the correct location, to the left of all the minimize, exit and restore screen buttons.

We have this problem as well, 3 monitor configurations.  Win 10 Build 17763, Vault 2018.3.3, Inventor 2018.3.6 (hopefully in 2020 by the end of the calendar year).  I see this was addressed in a 2019 SP, will it be addressed for the 2018 versions as well?  Out of 3 monitors for 19 people only 1 person would not need to reassign main monitor, not a real well received solution.

Hello,

I had same problem with Win 10 ver. 1903.

I checked in the workstation of my collegues and 3 work well and 3 have problems.

I try to move the main monitor and it works.

It works also if I change only the position of the 2 monitor (on the left/right).

Nicola,

The issue started around windows update 1809.

They have it fixed with the latest vault 2019 update (v.3), which I can confirm as I have updated my vault to this version and my issue has stopped.

From discussions in this thread there will also be fixes for vault 2018 and 2020, but Autodesk cannot comment on a timeline for either of these updates.

Cheers,

Kristin

Currently running Build 25.0.66.0.  This issue persists on mine and all my colleagues work stations (12 computers).  Has the newest update for 2020 been released?   I see this thread is marked as solved but no apparent solution was stated except to wait for the update...

Jake,

I marked it as solved as I had the issue in 2019 vault and it IS solved with their latest 2019 vault update.

As for 2020, I have yet to see any release or comment about a release on this thread.

I would suggest just keeping check on the Autodesk website for 2020 vault update releases. https://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/vault-products/downloads/caas/downloads/content/vault-2020-up...

Looking at the 2020.1 release notes it states they have fixed this issue. I would suggest updating your vault to this version if you haven't already.

2020.1 update.PNGsee line 5 for dual screen fixsee line 5 for dual screen fix

Line 5 of the release notes is where the fix is.

If your problem persists after this update, I would suggest creating a new forum for your issue, specifically in 2020 vault.

Cheers.

With Windoz 11 Enterprise build 22631.3737, Autocad & Inventor applications on start maximize to the monitor and beyond to any monitor to the right or left of it by .10 inches roughly.  After min/max it displays correctly, for a time.  Vault however, in my case is on the far right monitor in portrait mode and the login wrapper displays on the far left monitor in the top right when I minimize it.  lol Only Autocrap Autodesk.

Edit to apply link saying it is fixed though not the case.  I think they were just trying to move it expecting nothing to be there.   A sneaking suspicion is that the login wrapper around Autodesk products is what is causing this issue and maybe even with the Design Review and hot keys in the other apps getting intercepted.
