There are no storage limitations to either edition of Vault.

SQL Express is installed by default with a database limit of 10 gigs. However, this limitation is removed if you install SQL Standard or higher.

Yes, all Vault editions work with SQL Express, Standard, and Enterprise editions.

You can pre-install SQL server before installing Vault or you can upgrade the SQL Express edition to a high edition after installing Vault.
