Vault 2018. Poor PDF quality.

Hello,

Job Server generates very poor quality pdfs, but only for big drawings (attached screenshot). We already tried set all the DPIs - there is no difference.

Is it a bug?

Thanks,

How is the quality when you generate the PDF from the native application (AutoCAD or Inventor)?

Perfect quality from Inventor (we're using only Inventor).
Our coders say that this the issue arises because Inventor does not have time to render all views before publishing.

Thanks for the confirmation. Please raise a ticket with Product Support along with the required dataset. We can get that investigated. Thanks.

The issue was solved by un-ticking the option "Enable background updates" in Inventor Application Options>Drawing>Capacity\Performance.

I am seeing this issue here as well. I am experimenting with JP to print PDFs. The quality will be good and then all of a sudden it goes to pieces.

I have turned off Background updates on the JobServer. We will see if our PDFs become consitent.
