Unable to check in file after save

I've got one user who, for whatever reason, when he creates a new part file in Inventor (2019.4.4) and saves the file, selects "Check In for Vault and he goes into a "Save file" loop. Even after he saves the file and selects Check In, he's prompted again to save first, but the file never checks into Vault.

Even if he right clicks the file from the browser. He must exit the file and open it back up and then, Vault will allow him to check it in.

I've currently got him going thru any 3rd party add-ins to see if any of them are adversely affecting this.

Do you have iLogic in the file being saved?

The iLogic is most likely the cause of the problem. It is running again after the Save which dirties the file again. You can see this in your video which is after the save, the asterisk is still present.

Yes, the part does have iLogic in it.

The iLogic rules are started after or before saving.

If you run after saving and make changes, the component loops and you cannot check it in.

Hmm....let me have him test this because from what he's telling me, he's the only one that is seeing this happen.

Talked with the user and verified this situation is only happening to him.

Other users, including myself have replicated his process with the very same files and no problems.

So what little I know about iLogic, is there anything that would give this type of a result based on the user, or the set up of their system, the configuration a user has to Inventor, etc.?

You should check other Inventor extensions that may be causing the problem.

The I logic rules can be started in the document or can also be global for a certain file type, for example for all parts. You can check if a rule is started globally after saving.
