Turn off visualization creation for dxf files

Is there a way to disable the "Update Visualization" command for dxf files?  I have some shop users that search for a part number and try to view the dxf in the thin client and when it doesn't show, the hit the update visualization button and it sends the job to the queue but it never does anything.  It just sits in the queue until I go and remove it.  Currently using Vault Professional 2024
