Set visibility only for released documents

Hi all,

I would like to set an administrative folder inside Vault where users can get template and other documentation (company docs).

What I want to realize is to keep the work in progress versions of the files hidden to normal users (not administrative ones), they becom visible only the docs reach a "released state", when a new revision is released version.

How can I configure this behaviour?

Should I forseen a lifecycle with revision setting?

Thanks for any hint

Michele

@cavallerin

You cannot configure this behavior for the Vault thick client, but you can do it if those consumers are using the Thin Client.

Ok, is it possible to automatically refresh and clear local cache for both type of users at login and logout from the workstation?

What do you think you would be accomplishing with that?

Some companies do not need high skilled workers, so these men they do not care too much for standardization.

The "load content" command to refresh local cache is something that workers don't care too much, they only want to work.

It's a way to ease them the responsability to do tasks they're not suppose to. So you can use vault to share standard template or other things and from a remote place you can schedule updates all over the areas at the next login into vault.

By a security point of view, especially for laptops that can be stolen, it's a small improvement to keep your data not store outside of the company

There isn't an automatic way to clear the local Vault workspace.
