Searched the forum for a solution but could only find old solutions with options I don't see in versions 20222. Need some help reverting to a previous file version to be the current version in Vault Basic 2022. I select the previous file version, right click select Get, pop-up box click ok, get a status bar says get and the radio button turns red. I see no option to download file at this point? Do I checkout? Thanks much in advanced.
The easiest workflow to revert to an earlier version is to first start by checking the file out, then do a GET in the History tab for the version/row you wish to bring to the top, then open the design file from Windows Explorer or Inventor (not Vault) and check it in to make it the tip/latest/top version again.
If you already got the old version before checking out, Vault 2019 and above (around that I believe) has changed the ability for you to easily check out when the version in the local workspace differs from the one in Vault (I know, it's a pain... I've complained about that a lot too). The workaround to check out after you got the old version is to use the GET pop-up to select "check out" and set the dropdown to download NONE (see picture below):
