Find and Replace free text in numbering scheme in the rename wizard

I am currently running vault pro 2024 and I am trying to rename a large group of files quickly while also using numbering schemes.  I have a scheme that is a free text section, a dash delimiter and an auto generated number.

In the rename wizard I set the scheme then I right click the new name column and select replace.  Then I try to find and replace the default free text with a different value but it does not work. It seems to find the text, if I press find next it will select the following part name until it gets to the bottom of the list and it says there are no more matches. When I press Replace it does not change anything.

Is there a fast way to rename a groups of files that all have the same name plus a sequential number?

There is no faster way to perform the replacement using a numbering scheme in the Rename dialog.

If you are not using numbering scheme then you can copy the New Name Column to Excel, do find & replace, and then paste the results back to New Name Column.
