Property mapping to filetype instead of a software

Hello

At the moment it is possible to map properties to software like AutoCAD, Inventor ....
It will be a huge benefit to have the possibility to map properties to a certain filetype instead to an specific software.
Background is, that not all properties on an iam needed or should be available in an idw and so on.

@thomas_jamnik , you can map properties to a specific category and that category can be assigned to a specific file type. Have you tried this?
