Project Folder Mapping - Library

I got another question (about library parts).

I setup the Vault structure like this:

My Project file set-up like this:

My Project Folder Mapping set-up like this:

I created an iPart that I want to place in the library folder (see picture nr.1 for where its located). The iPart is a standard part with different lengths that we're going to use over and over again in different assemblies.

When checking it in I get the following error (which is logical):

I'm not really sure on what's the best way to proceed. And if it's the right decision to make this a library part (or should I put it in the Content Center folder?).

It would be great if anyone could point me in the right direction.

Hi @w.poortinga,

To make it easier for others to read, I've moved this new question to the root of the forum to start a new thread and am giving it a new Title

How if you change the path to the Library in the project file. Try with .\_Libraries.

Hmm it did work, I was able to check in the file. However, when checking out the part I get the following error:

This might be caused by the Workspace I set in the Project file (see picture in my earlier post)? Because this part isn't located in the workspace?

When you open from Vault the client tries to set the project file in the picture current, but your Inventor session is probably has another project file active and files open. It's not possible to change project file when files are open.

But I'm using the same Project file for all of my files? I only have one Project file.
