Library Parts Refresh Error

Hi all,

I am having issues with my Inventor Vault add-in. When I view the vault status of a library part on the browser bar in Inventor, it gives me the red double arrow, meaning I have to refresh the file from vault since my version is apparently not current (which it should be, since I had just used the "Get" function on all of Vault). If I try to refresh it, nothing happens. I have attached a screenshot of this. All the parts in the picture with the red refresh arrows are from the library.

Any help on why this may be occurring would be appreciated!

Could you make a screencast with following steps?

1, Vault explorer, check the file status.

2, Go to working folder and delete the local copy.

3, Back to vault explorer, check file status.

4, Go to Inventor, login to Vault, get the project, make sure using correct one.

5, Open from Vault, select the assembly from Vault, this will download all files from vault to local working folder.

6, Check the File status in inventor- vault browser.

Please upload your screencast here. thanks.

Henry,

I tried to follow your steps for the screencast as closely as possible. However, you will notice that when I tried to open the assembly with the library not on memory, Vault could not locate the hardware files until I used the "Get" function on the library in Vault, and when I did do this, the Inventor-vault browser shows those files as not current. Thanks for looking this over.

Daniel

Hi, @Anonymous

I try to reproduce the issue with your step, However it's work find from my end.

Could you connect with Autodesk Support and then we can take a remote session to check the deep cause?

Henry.

One more thing:

are those files all migrate to latest version?

Like those files checked in 2015 Inventor or earlier,  Now you upgrade to 2018 Inventor,  A migration is needed.
