Item and primary file [sql]

which table on the Vault database holds the reference to the primary file on items.

I would like to get the primary file name for each item.

Accessing the databases directly is not supported and strongly discouraged. We recommend that you use the Vault APIs to get any information you need.

thx for the answer, but I sincerly can't understand why I can't simply "SELECT" from the database and see the consequences of these operations.
