New to Inventor coming from Fusion. I installed just Vault Basic. Looking for best practices or a tutorial for moving designs to the vault. Thanks.

You are best asking in the vault forum, they are the Vault experts.

If they're only small assemblies though, you could just move them all to the vault directory, put all top level assemblies in one empty assembly and then check that in and the children will follow.

You could use the task scheduler to add multiple folders and files to Vault in one go.

Create a vault project file with the same locations as the single-user. Then when you open the files with the vaulted project, you should be able to check them in. Keep in mind that the working folder, Content center and .ipj fall at the same level. IE (C:\Whatever you want to call this folder\ CC folder, Designs Folder - where all your designs are place, call this what you want, IPJ here). We also throw our design data in here as well so it can be tracked via vault.
